ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 19 UCF men's tennis team is back in action as they host FGCU at 1 p.m. on Friday.
UCF is coming off a sweep of UNF their last time out, earning a clean 7-0 victory to move to 3-2 on the season. Prior to that, the Knights were narrowly defeated by No. 10 Texas A&M by a count of 4-3.
The Knights will look to keep their perfect record going against the Eagles as UCF is a perfect 6-0 in the all-time series.
Gabriel Decamps had an incredible week last week, earning the nod as the conference's Player of the Week. He went a combined 4-0 across singles and doubles, picking up a singles victory against the No. 4 player in the country and beating two ranked tandems with Trey Hilderbrand.
FGCU is searching for their first win on the season as they're out to an 0-3 start. The Eagles fell 5-2 to FAU in their season opener before going on the road to lose to South Florida by the same score. FGCU's third loss is to then-No. 9 Texas A&M as they were swept 7-0.
