JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The No. 19 UCF men's tennis team earned a clean sweep on the road against UNF on Saturday afternoon, soaring to a 7-0 win over the Ospreys.

The Knights jumped out to a big advantage on court one in doubles and never looked back. After leading 4-1, Gabriel Decamps and Trey Hilderband cruised to a 6-2 victory, topping No. 56 Dominik Barton and Matt Carroll. Decamps and Hilderbrand move to 4-1 on the season, with all five of their matches coming against ranked opponents. UCF went on to seal the doubles point on court two where Juan Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi and Bogdan Pavel won their final three games to defeat Patrick Kotan and Federico Nani 6-2.

UCF continued to dominate in singles, collecting all six first sets. No. 16 Decamps kept his winning ways going as he earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Barton at the top singles spot. No. 52 Grassi Mazzuchi followed soon after, earning a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles over Nilo Duarte.

Hilderbrand clinched the match with his victory on court four. He defeated Kotan 6-3, 6-3 to earn the Knights their third victory of the season. Play continued following the clincher.

Sokolovskiy was next to earn a point for UCF as he defeated Jonas Hartenstein on court six by a count of 6-1, 7-5. The victory is Sokolovskiy's fourth in a row and gets him to a total of 63 career singles wins. With that mark, Sokolovskiy moves alone into sixth place on the Knights' career singles victory list.

The final two courts finished nearly at the same time. Alan Rubio earned a straight set victory on court three with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) decision over Carroll to put the Knights at a half-dozen points on the afternoon. Kento Yamada locked up the sweep for UCF, edging Rodrigo Crespo 6-4, 7-6 (7-2).

The Knights have won four of their last five meetings with the Ospreys, outscoring them 22-6 in their four victories.

UP NEXT
The Knights will face another in-state foe as FGCU will visit the UCF Collegiate Tennis Center at the USTA National Campus on Feb. 26 at 1 p.m.
