Knights to Celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day

ORLANDO – For the third year in a row, UCF Athletics will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day. This year, the celebrations will be virtual from Feb. 1–7.

One of the events in recognition of National Girls and Women in Sports Day will be a virtual children's sports clinic featuring numerous UCF student-athletes beginning on Monday, Feb. 1. The virtual clinic is open to children ages 12 & under and all participants are encouraged to reply to the drill videos shared on Twitter.
 
Participants who reply will receive a free ticket to the UCF women's basketball game against South Florida on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2 p.m. at Addition Financial Arena. The schedule of drill videos is as follows:

A series of interview with coaches, student-athletes, and UCF Athletics employees highlighting their experiences playing and/or working in sports will also to be shared on UCF Knights social media throughout the week.
