JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Knights wrapped up play at the Timuquana Collegiate on Tuesday, finishing in 11th place with a score of 867(+3).
The Knights posted a strong first day on Monday, finishing round one in the top-5 with a score of three under par and then going on to post the same score in round two, but day three saw the Knights fall behind more than they would have liked to as they had to contend with the likes of No. 15 Florida, Liberty, Virginia and No. 23 Oklahoma State, among others.
Johnny Travale and Max O'Hagan posted the lowest round three scores of the day for UCF with 73(+1) totals. Travale wrapped up play at the Timuquana Collegiate as the only UCF player to finish under par with a 214(-2) total.
Clement Charmasson had a solid day two, shooting for 74(+2) in the final round, while teammates Paul Swindell and Egor Eroshenko shot 82(+10) and 77(+5), respectively.
Shooting individually, Leo Herrera had a solid first round on Monday, shooting one under par, but finished the tournament with a 225(+9) total.
The Knights will look to bounce back on Feb. 13 as they head to Gainesville for the Gator Invitational, their second of five spring tournaments.
