ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF men's golf team is set to kick off the season with a trip to Jacksonville, Fla. as the Knights will tee off in the Timuquana Collegiate on Monday, Jan. 25.
Johnny Travale, Egor Eroshenko, Max O'Hagan, Paul Swindell and Clement Charmasson will be representing the Knights in the first event of the season after five rounds of qualifying. Leo Herrera will compete as an individual.
The event will be played at Timuquana Country Club, where the Knights will play the par 72, 6,949-yard course beginning on Monday, Jan. 25 and concluding Tuesday, Jan. 26. Day one will consist of two rounds for 36 holes, with the final round taking place on Tuesday.
The loaded field consists of No. 23 Oklahoma State, No. 15 Florida, Florida State (who are coming off a win at the Camp Creek Seminole Invitational), South Florida, Purdue, Notre Dame, Liberty, Virginia and host schools North Florida and Jacksonville University.
The Black and Gold are set to tee off at 8:33 a.m. Monday morning on hole 10 along with Liberty and Purdue. Herrera, the individual for UCF in the first event of the season, is set to tee off at 9:13 a.m.

QUALIFYING INFORMATION
- Johnny Travale will play in the first spot in the lineup at the Timuquana Collegiate as a result of winning the five-round qualifier with a score of -3.
- Egor Eroshenko will play in the second spot in the lineup at the Timuquana Collegiate as a result of coming in second place in the five-round qualifier with a score of +2.
- Max O'Hagan will play in the third spot in the lineup at the Timuquana Collegiate after finishing in third place in the five-round qualifier with a score of +12.
- Paul Swindell will play in the fourth spot in the lineup at the Timuquana Collegiate as a coaches' selection based on Swindell's World Amateur Golf Ranking of 403 in 2019-20 and his 70.50 collegiate career scoring average.
- Clement Charmasson will play in the fifth spot in the lineup at the Timuquana Collegiate as a coaches' selection based his World Amateur Golf Ranking of 514 in 2019-20 and his 72.33 career scoring average being second on the team.
Individual – Leo Herrera qualified as an individual for the Timuquana Collegiate by virtue of a 4th place finish in the five-round qualifier with a score of +17.
