ORLANDO – The UCF men's golf team and head coach Bryce Wallor announced the 2020-21 schedule on Wednesday, featuring five regular season tournaments and the American Athletic Conference Championship.

"With regard to our 2021 tournament schedule, we tried to make sure that our student-athletes had the best opportunity to participate in top-ranked collegiate events this spring," said Wallor. "In regard to the quality of each tournament field, we also wanted to ensure that our players would play on some of the most challenging golf course venues that were available in the southeast.

"We also made a decision to play more of regional schedule this semester due to the pandemic. In making this decision to play regionally, we can drive to each event with the commitment of trying to keep our student-athletes in the safest travel environment possible."

Three of the Knights' five tournaments will be held in the state of Florida, with the other two taking place in the southeast region of the United States in Georgia and South Carolina.

The Knights will kick off the season at the Timuquana Invitational taking place from Jan. 25-26. in Jacksonville, Fla.

UCF will continue its spring with a trip to Gainesville, Fla. where they will compete in the Gator Invitational from Feb. 13-14 before heading out to the General Hackler Championship in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The Black and Gold will then return to the Sunshine State for the UNF/John Hayt Collegiate tournament in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla from March 28-29 before capping off their regular season with a trip to Augusta, Ga., where they will take place in the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational from April 3-4.

Following the conclusion of the regular season, UCF will play in the American Conference Championship in Brooksville, Fla. from April 23-25. If UCF qualifies, the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship will be held in Tallahassee, Fla. From May 17-19.
