ORLANDO – The UCF women's basketball team wraps up a two-game road swing on Wednesday, heading to Greenville, N.C., for an American Athletic Conference matchup at ECU.

KNIGHT NOTES
UCF enters the game with a 5-2 overall record. The Black and Gold suffered their first league loss of the season in the last outing, dropping a tight 61-58 battle at Temple on Jan. 9.
A trio of Knights average double figures, led by Courtajia Sanders' 13.0 points per game. Sanders also leads the Black and Gold with 2.4 steals per game. Diamond Battles is second with 11.0 points per contest and leads the Knights with 3.7 assists per game. A season-high 17-point performance at Temple bumped Brittney Smith to 10.0 points per game on the season.
Masseny Kaba paces the Knights on the boards, averaging 6.0 rebounds per game. Destiny Thomas (5.3) and Smith (5.0) are close behind for the Black and Gold.
Nationally, the Knights defense remains one of the stingiest in the country. UCF ranks ninth in scoring defense, holding opponents to 50.3 points per game. The Knights have forced every opponent into double-digit turnovers and rank 32nd nationally in turnovers forced at 20.57 per game. The Black and Gold's opponents are shooting just 34.7 percent from the field, which ranks 33rd in the country.
SCOUTING ECU
The Pirates are 5-5 overall, with a 3-2 mark in league play.
A trio of Pirates average double figures, led by Lashonda Monk's 15.3 points per game. She also averages 3.1 steals per game, matching Dominique Claytor for the team lead. They rank 36th nationally.
Taniyah Thompson averages 12.3 points per game and Sierra DaCosta averages 10.9 points per contest. Tiara Chambers averages a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game.
ECU leads the all-time series, 14-9, but the Knights have won five straight against the Pirates.
