ORLANDO – The UCF women's basketball team continues American Athletic Conference action with a road trip to Tulsa.
 
UCF (3-1, 1-0 The American) and Tulsa (1-0, 0-0 The American) tip at 2 p.m. ET in the Reynolds Center and the game will stream on ESPN+.

CONFERENCE OPENING CONQUEST
UCF opened American Athletic Conference action with a 66-62 victory over Tulane on Dec. 15. Four Knights scored in double figures while eight of the 10 Knights that saw action contributed to UCF's season-high 18 assists.
 
UCF is now 6-2 overall in its AAC openers, with a 4-1 record under head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson. The Knights have won four straight league openers.
 
KNIGHT NOTES
A pair of Knights average double figures while three more sit just outside double digit scoring. Courtajia Sanders leads the way with 12.3 points per game with Diamond Battles adding 11.5 points per contest. A season-high 15 points against Tulane bumped Masseny Kaba to 8.5 points per game. Brittney Smith (8.3 PPG) and Alisha Lewis (8.0 PPG) round out UCF's top scorers.
 
An eight-rebound effort against the Green Wave pushed Destiny Thomas to the top of UCF's rebounding list with 5.7 boards per game. Battles is second with 5.5 rebounds per game. Lewis and Battles each have double-digit assists in just four games, with Lewis averaging 4.2 assists per game and Battles averaging 3.8 assists per contest.  
 
SCOUTING TULSA
The Golden Hurricane are 1-0 on the season, earning a 69-62 road win at Oklahoma State.
 
Four members of Tulsa's squad scored in double figures against the Cowgirls, led by Wyvette Mayberry's 16 points. Rebecca Lescay added 15 points; Maya Mayberry chipped in 13 and Elin Hrafnkelsdottir had 10. Hrafnkelsdottir and Desiree Lewis each had six rebounds and KK Rodriguez had three steals.
 
UCF leads the all-time series, 12-7, and have won five straight against the Golden Hurricane. The series is tied at 5-5 in Tulsa.
