Bai, Tate Finish Strong at Sorrento/Eagle Dunes Shoot-Out

ORLANDO – Former UCF Men's Golfers Bobby Bai and Kyler Tate may be in their offseason from playing in the Korn Ferry Q-School and PGA Latinoamérica Tour, respectively, but the two are still in mid-season form after finishing strong in their latest event, theSorrento/Eagle Dunes Shoot-Out.

The pair of former Knights wrapped up play at the event, which took place over two rounds of play from Tuesday, November 10 through Wednesday November 11 at the Eagle Dunes Golf Club in Sorrento, Fla., each finishing inside the top ten.

Bai topped all golfers, turning in back-to-back 65-stroke rounds, including two Eagles on holes four (par four) and 14 (par five) in the first round, to finish with a 130(-14) total. Not far behind was Tate, who finished T-10 after finishing strong by shooting two under in the second round to bring his total to 141(-3).

Bai was a three-time All-Conference Honoree and AAC Freshman of the Year during his time at UCF. Despite going pro before graduating, Bai recently returned to UCF to earn his degree in May of 2021. You can read that full story here.
