Knights Ranked 13th in AP Top 25 Poll

ORLANDO – The latest version of the Associated Press Top 25 Poll was released on Sunday and the UCF football team moved up from 14th to 13th after defeating Georgia Tech 49-21 on the road Saturday. The Knights were also ranked 15th in the Amway Coaches Poll.

The AP Poll did not bring Big Ten teams back into consideration after announcing the league would resume play late in October, but the Coaches Poll did. Ohio State and Penn State jumped back ahead of UCF in that one.

UCF is once again one of three American Athletic Conference teams in both polls, as Cincinnati is just behind the Knights in both, while Memphis came in at 17th in the AP Poll and 20th in the Coaches Poll.

Clemson remained on top of both polls after defeating The Citadel this weekend.

UCF has now been ranked in the Top 25 a total of 50 times and is now 36-4 all-time as a ranked team after defeating Georgia Tech this weekend.

The Knights are back in action this coming weekend, going back on the road to take on East Carolina Saturday at noon on ESPN+. The Pirates have yet to play a game in 2020.
