ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF men's soccer team sits at No. 8 in College Soccer News' poll, receiving their first ranking of the season. Additionally, College Soccer News released their Preseason All-America Teams which contained three Knights.

The Black and Gold won't be playing men's soccer in the fall but were tabbed as the nation's eighth best team ahead of this weekend as a few conferences and teams resume action this weekend. This is two spots higher than where they ended the season, checking in at No. 10 in the final edition of College Soccer News' 2019 poll.

UCF finished at No. 10 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll as well. Top Drawer Soccer had them at the same mark, and the NCAA had the Knights wrapping up their season at No. 6 in the RPI. The United Soccer Poll announced that they will debut their rankings in the fall with only five men's programs in their weekly rankings before everyone gets underway in the spring.

Just days after releasing their team rankings, College Soccer News also released their Preseason All-America Teams. Yoni Sorokin was given a nod to the First Team, Yanis Leerman was selected for the Second Team and Yannik Oettl was part of the Third Team.
