ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF men's soccer team sits in the top 25 of two final 2020 recruiting class rankings. College Soccer News has the Knights at No. 17 in their final release of their recruiting rankings while Top Drawer Soccer has the Black and Gold at No. 21.

Since the middle of their 2019 season, UCF has been pulling in talented recruits locally and from afar. At one point, the Black and Gold had climbed to No. 15 in one of Top Drawer Soccer's monthly rankings. The Knights have collected seven newcomers for the upcoming 2020-21 campaign with five true freshmen and two transfers.

UCF's recruiting class is made up of players from five different countries and four different continents. Both incoming transfers come to Orlando from overseas. Lenny Cidolit makes his way to the Black and Gold from the University of Montpellier in France while Ariel Hadar comes to the Knights after spending time playing in Israel.

The Knights have continued to solidify a pipeline to and from Montverde Academy, signing Lucca Dourado and Anderson Rosa, who led impressive campaigns there over the past few seasons. The Black and Gold snagged their other three recruits from the Orlando City Development Academy, bringing in Tyler Lavigne, Brennon Neff and Juan Ramos.

Four of the seven newcomers are defenders, doubling the number of defenders left after the 2019 season. Lavigne becomes the fourth goalkeeper on the Knights' roster while Hadar and Cidolit add depth to a strong midfield position.
