Piddon Finishes Thai LPGA Singha-Sat Championship as Top Amateur

Orlando, Fla. – After a successful freshman campaign for Tunrada Piddon, she continues to impress on the golf course, placing sixth overall and first in the field of amateurs at the Singha-Sat Thai LPGA Championship, shooting 213 (-3) in the three day, 54-hole tournament.

The event, which started on August 27 and wrapped up on August 29, was played at the Royal Hills Golf Resort and Spa, Nahkon Nayok, Thailand.

Piddon shot her best rounds on the second and third day of the event, carding a 68 (-4) and a 69 (-3) respectively. Between the two days, she collected nine birdies allowing her to climb the leaderboards and finish three strokes ahead of the next closest amateur competitor.
