Knights Add Juan Ramos to 2020 Recruiting Class

ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF men's soccer team has added their seventh newcomer for the 2020 season as Juan Ramos signed with the Knights on Monday evening.

Ramos comes to the Black and Gold from the Orlando City Development Academy. He was announced as part of the Orlando City B roster ahead of the USL League one season this spring. The team didn't get the chance to begin their season before the COVID-19 pandemic postponed sports across the country.

The Freedom High School alum intends to major in Kinesiology upon arrival. The Venezuelan native chose UCF because "it is a university with great prestige that has very good teaching at an educational and professional level. This gives me a guarantee of a successful future."

Ramos joins five other newcomers in this fall's recruiting class. He's the third incoming freshman hailing from the Orlando City Development Academy, joined by Brennon Neff and Tyler Lavigne. Lucca Dourado and Anderson Rosa join the Knights from Montverde Academy. Ariel Hadar rounds out the recruiting class after spending some time playing in pro leagues in Israel.
