ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Eleven members of the UCF rowing team were named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) scholar-athletes for the 2020 season.
For the third straight year, Mia Cleary and Julie Poulsen were tabbed for the accolade, while Luci Derrick, Rusne Dziugtye, Nicole Mayer and Maria Yim earned their second straight distinction.
Georgia Coyne, Jacinta Kendall, Abbie Pritchard, Amy Van Ryn and McKenna were all first-time honorees.
The eleven honorees mark back-to-back years with double-digit Knights earning scholar-athlete accolades after a program-best 12 earned the distinction in 2019.
Each rower had a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher through the fall semester for the current competition year.
