Why did you choose UCF?
I loved Marcia Mansur-Wentworth right away. She was polarizing. She had so much grit. I had never met anyone like her.

What would you tell other alumni about the value of giving back?
Giving back is so important, and it is our contributions that help UCF remain the best school on the planet. We can all give something. Whether it is a monetary gift, sharing talent or advice, or becoming a mentor, we are all blessed with something that we can share to make our current student-athletes better, and that giving is crucial for continued growth.

What do you want your legacy to be?
I would like to be remembered as someone who lifted others up, made those around me better, and always gave back.

Do you still run?
I still run, usually five days a week.

What used to drive you to get up in the morning and go train every day?
My fellow UCF athletes drove me to get up and train hard every day. We were a tight-knit family.

Advice to current student-athletes?
UCF is the best school in the country. There is no place like it.  Knights are the best people. You will find some of the best people on the planet inside that three mile circle. Cherish all of them.

What are your strengths as an athlete and a person?
I am extremely determined. I have always been able to set a goal and put in the hard work to achieve it.

Favorite memory as a student-athlete in college?
My favorite memory as a student-athlete in college was when our football team beat Alabama in the home stadium for Homecoming. It was such a big win at the time for our program. Such a big day for our athletics family. It was my favorite day.

Now that you have graduated, what is your favorite part about being a Knight?
My favorite part about being a Knight is witnessing all the accomplishments of the athletes who have come up behind us. They continue to do great things every year. It's an awesome fraternity to be a part of.

What is the secret to having fun while running?
Running is the best when you have a big decision to make or something to think over. I always have an answer by the end of my run. I have always loved running.
