ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 18 UCF women's tennis team is back in action on Tuesday afternoon as they cap their four-match road trip against No. 27 Baylor at 1 p.m. ET.

The Knights have strung together three straight victories. They beat then No. 29 Old Dominion before topping conference opponents Tulane and SMU.

The Black and Gold put forth a gutsy performance in doubles against SMU. UCF trailed 1-4 on courts one and three and led big on two. Slowly, both courts that were trailing rallied back to make things interesting. The Knights went on to seal the doubles point with a 7-5 win by Marie Mattel and Nandini Sharma on court three and hand the Mustangs just their third doubles point loss of the season.

Baylor comes into the match with a record of 10-1 on the season, with their lone loss coming against Northwestern by a score of 4-3 back on Feb. 23. The Bears' notable wins include victories over Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Illinois, Iowa State and West Virginia.

Baylor has no ranked singles or doubles players but have found success across all courts. Mel Krywoj and Anastasia Kharitonova have split time at the top singles spot, combining for a mark of 6-4. Three different Bears have played at No. 2 singles, four splitting time at the No. 4 and No. 5 slots and have seen five different players at the No. 3 and No. 6 spots. The Bears haven't lost at the No. 5 singles spot yet this season, going a perfect 11-0 at that position.

The Bears have lined up 10 different doubles tandems during the dual match season thus far, with all combos compiling a 19-9 record. The Bears have won eight of eleven doubles points so far this season, going 2-1 when losing the opening segment.

Baylor is one of five Big 12 opponents on UCF's schedule this season. So far, the Knights are 1-0 against that conference, picking up a 4-1 win over TCU back on Feb. 14. The Black and Gold will face No. 6 Texas, No. 12 Oklahoma State and Oklahoma to finish out their Big 12 slate.
