Gainesville, Fla. – Tunrada Piddon led the UCF Knights women's golf team at the Florida Gators Invitational, earning her second tournament victory as a Knight with a first-place tie after carding an overall score of 212 (-2). Piddon then won the one-hole playoff, earning the victory outright.
As a team, the Knights tied for 4th place, finishing the tournament with a score of 879 (+39) at the three-round Florida Gators Invitational.
Alyssa Lamoureux completed the tournament with 219 strokes, putting her tied for 14th in the field of 72. Ana Laura Collado finished with 226 strokes and Elizabeth Moon finished with 228 strokes over their three rounds, placing T30 and T37 respectively. Not far behind, Dimana Viudes finished T42 in her first tournament in the Knights lineup with a score of 230.
Competing in the tournament as an individual, Chinatsu Kobayashi finished T35 with a three-round score of 227. Her best round came on the final day, shooting 72 (+2) on the day.
