LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The No. 21 ranked Knights are headed to Los Angeles, Calif. as UCF is set to play eight games over the span of six days in the UCLA/LBSU Invitational.

The Knights will kick things off in Los Angeles, where UCLA is hosting the first half of the tournament. There, UCF will play No. 1 UCLA and No. 16 Michigan on Friday. On Saturday, UCF will head to Long Beach State University for the second part of the tournament, where the Knights will do battle with Cal State Fullerton and LBSU on Saturday before playing San Diego State and No. 18 Minnesota on Sunday.

Following the weekend, UCF will play two one-off games against CSUN in Northridge, Calif. on Monday and Cal State Fullerton on Wednesday. 

Saturday's 3:30 p.m. game against Long Beach State will be live streamed. Fans can watch here. Wednesday's game against Cal State Fullerton will also be lived streamed. That game can be watched here.

  • LAST TIME OUT  UCF squared off with No. 7 FSU Wednesday night at the UCF Softball Complex, with the Knights ultimately falling, 8-3 to the Seminoles.
  • KNIGHTS CLIMB IN THE POLLS  For the first time since 2016, the Knights are ranked in the NFCA/USA Today coaches' poll as they check in this week at No. 22. UCF's next three games are against No. 12 FSU (March 4), No. 16 Michigan (March 6) and No. 1 UCLA (March 6). UCF also plays No. 18 Minnesota on March 8.
  • WHITE ON PACE  Over the weekend, Alea White was lights out as she tossed a one hit, one run, complete game. She struck out 12 in a 3-1 win over Longwood for career win number 74. White needs just six more to tie UCF all-time career wins leader Shelby Turnier (2013-2016).
  • BEAR PICKS UP NO. 50  When the Knights captured win number 16 on the season in the 2-0 victory over Longwood on Sunday, it marked coach Ball-Malone's 50th win as the head coach at UCF. Her all-time record as the head coach of the Knights entering Wednesday's game against FSU is 50-24(.676).
  • ROOKIE ON A ROLL – First year Knight Shannon Doherty has been demolishing the ball all season long. The freshman from Coral Spring, Fla. owns a slash line of .514/.568/.600, one home run and 12 RBI in 35 at bats. In the loss to FSU Wednesday night, Doherty's 13-game hitting streak came to an end.
