ORLANDO – UCF Vice President and Director of Athletics Danny White met with the media Friday afternoon to give an update on the state of the athletics program as it relates to the Covid-19 outbreak and released the following information in regards to Knights teams and student-athletes.
Fall and Winter sports
Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball
- No practices or competition for two weeks
- Per NCAA policy, there will be a dead period for all sports for all recruiting activities until at least April 15
- Rehab and voluntary workouts are allowed
- Student-athletes will still have access to sports medicine, weight room, Garvy Nutrition Center and practice facilities
Spring sports
Baseball, Softball, Track and Field, Men's Tennis, Women's Tennis, Men's Golf, Women's Golf, Rowing
- No competition for two weeks
- Per NCAA policy, there will be a dead period for all sports for all recruiting activities until at least April 15
- Some Spring sports will continue their spring practice schedule - these sports will be determined on a case-by-case basis
A final determination is yet to be made on the Spring Football game currently scheduled for April 4.

UCF officials are working with the university, local and state health departments, the American Athletic Conference and the NCAA to take proactive steps with this fluid situation.
Refunds for fans who have purchased single game tickets to upcoming sporting events will be automatically refunded within 7-10 business days after the scheduled event date. UCF will work with season ticket holders at the end of the regular season to determine the impact and offer a partial refund.
