UCF and Orlando City B Draw 2-2 in Friendly

ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF men's soccer team played to a 2-2 draw against the Orlando City B team on Saturday morning at the UCF Soccer Complex.

The match was part of UCF's spring schedule and was a break in their action in the Florida Cup.

Orlando City B scored the first goal of the match and took a 1-0 lead into halftime.

UCF had good chances throughout the first half but couldn't cash in. The Knights were able to bury one in the 71st minute off a beautiful feed from Louis Perez that Richard Amon was able to put in the back of the net.

The Black and Gold kept the pressure up following the equalizer. A sliding Orlando City defender attempting to block a cross was whistled for a handball in the box, awarding the Knights a penalty kick opportunity. Perez took advantage of the chance and punched it home to give UCF a 2-1 lead.

Orlando City scored in the final ten minutes of the match off a corner kick. The two sides didn't play overtime, resulting in a 2-2 draw in the Orlando friendly affair.
