Melbourne, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's golf team is back in action this weekend for their second tournament of the spring slate. Starting Monday, Feb. 17, the Moon Golf Invitational will run through Tuesday, Feb. 18. Hosted by the University of Louisville, the 54-hole tournament will take place at the Duran Golf Club (par 72, 6262 yards).
The Knights are ready for the trip to Melbourne, Fla., to face 15 other teams including three teams placed in the GolfWeek and GolfStat.com top 25 polls – No. 9 Alabama, No. 12 Ole Miss, and No. 21 Kentucky.
Knights Lineup:
- Alyssa Lamoureux – In the three-round UCF Challenge, Lamoureux scored 214 (-2) finishing 20th.
- Tunrada Piddon – The freshman scored 215 (-1) at the UCF Challenge.
- Ana Laura Collado – At the UCF Challenge, Laura Collado scored 214 (E).
- Elizabeth Moon – Broke the program record for lowest 54-hole total with a 203,-7 at the Princess Anne Invitational.
- Chinatsu Kobayashi – Finished tied for 48th in a field of 89 competitors with a score of 221 (+5) at the UCF Challenge.
After placing sixth overall in the last tournament, the Knights are ready to face strong competition this weekend.
