ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF men's soccer team has made their first addition to the roster in 2020 as Ariel Hadar joins the team from overseas as a redshirt freshman.
Hadar becomes the third Israeli born player on the Knights' roster, extending the international pipelines the UCF coaching staff has laid. The Black and Gold now have 13 international players on the roster which outweighs the 10 domestic players.
The 5-foot-8 Israeli has seen a good amount of match action since graduating high school in 2016. He was a member of the U-21 Israeli international team and played for multiple teams in the Leumit League. Hadar played in 75 matches overseas, tallying 11 goals and two assists.
Hadar will be eligible for the team's spring schedule which as of now begins on Feb. 22 as the Knights host Jacksonville at 6 p.m.
