ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – With the 39th overall pick in the 2020 MLS Superdraft, Orlando City has selected UCF men's soccer's Jonathan Dean.
Dean is the ninth Knight to be taken in the MLS draft and the third second round pick in program history. He joins Hadji Barry as the only two Knights to be taken by the local club; Barry was taken 13th overall by Orlando City in 2016.
The two time captain of UCF played in every minute of every match this season, tallying six assists and playing lockdown defense on the back line.
