ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – With the 17th overall pick in the 2020 MLS Superdraft, FC Dallas selected UCF men's soccer Cal Jennings.
Jennings is the eighth Knight to be taken in the MLS draft and the fourth first round pick. The last UCF alum to be selected in the draft was Hadji Barry, who was taken 13th overall by Orlando City in 2016.
After tallying 20 goals in 2018, Jennings scored 18 goals in 2019 to bring his career total to 46. That mark was good enough for fourth all-time UCF's career goals scored list.
