ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Multiple members of the UCF men's soccer team were named in TopDrawer Soccer's postseason awards. Cal Jennings was named to the Best XI First Team while Yoni Sorokin and Yanis Leerman were named to the Best XI Second Team. Four Knights were named as part of TopDrawer's top 100 college soccer players nationwide while two others were named to the top 100 freshmen list.

This marks the second consecutive year that Jennings has been a member of TopDrawer's Best XI First Team. The nod is certainly not the first accolade that Jennings has won from his 18-goal effort in the 2019 season. He earned another All-American honor, the second of his career. He was named the conference's offensive player of the year and named to the first team. He was also named as a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award and was named as a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy. In addition to his work on the field, Jennings was named to the CoSIDA All-America Academic second team, making him just the second Knight to be awarded the honor.

This is also Leerman's second time receiving a Best XI nod. Last season, he was named to the Best XI Freshman squad before earning Best XI Second Team honors in 2019. Leerman was named to the All-East Region First team this season as well as the All-Conference First Team.

Sorokin earned his way onto a Best XI team for the first time thanks to his five goals and five assists this season. He was named as a unanimous selection to the All-Conference First Team and earned back to back honors of being named to the All-East Region First Team. He was crowned as The American's Midfielder of the Year for his efforts in 2019.

TopDrawer Soccer also released their ranking of college soccer's top 100 players nationwide. The Knights had three players in the top 25 as Jennings was No. 4, Sorokin No. 15 and Leerman at No. 21. Rounding out UCF's bunch in the top 100 was Louis Perez at No. 77 after he posted four goals and 11 assists this season.

TopDrawer released a separate list for freshman, which saw two Knights ranked among the top 100 rookies in college soccer. Gino Vivi checked in at No. 24 after winning The American's Rookie of the Year award. He netted five goals and eight assists in his freshman campaign. Defender Glademir Mendoza sits at No. 79 in the top 100 after both he and Vivi were named to The American's All Rookie Team.
