Sarhaddi, Grula Wrap Up Play at JAGA First Coast Amateur

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Two Knights concluded play in the Jacksonville Area Golf Association First Coast Amateur on Monday. Jordan Sarhaddi and Jake Grula represented The Black and Gold in the three-day tournament taking place from January 18-20.
 
The 54-hole tournament was played on the The Conservatory at Hammock Beach Golf Course, a 72-par, 7,300 yard course in Palm Coast, Fla.
 
Sarhaddi shined in the tournament, finishing play tied for sixth overall out of 96 total golfers. Over the course of three rounds, he shot 216(E), including 71(-1) in the final two rounds. Sarhaddi played in all five fall tournaments for the Knights, turning in a season-best 210(-6) total at the Hartford Hawks Invitational back in September.
 
Playing alongside Sarhaddi, Jake Grula turned in a 229(+13) score to finish the JAGA First Coast Amateur tied for 52nd overall.  His best round came on the first day, where he turned in a 74(+2) total.
 
Sarhaddi, Grula, and the rest of the Knights return to the course to kick off their spring season when they play in the Gator Invitational from February 15-16 in Gainesville, Fla.
