Knights to Celebrate National Girls and Women In Sports Day

ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – For the second year in a row, UCF Athletics will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day with a pair of events in the coming weeks.

One of the events in recognition of National Girls and Women in Sports Day will be a free children's sports clinic featuring numerous UCF coaches and student-athletes on Saturday, Feb. 1. Doors open at 12:15 p.m. ET and the event will run from 12:45 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. ET. The clinic is open to children in eighth grade or below and will take place at The Venue at UCF, which is located directly to the north of Addition Financial Arena. The Knights will also host the UCF Women in Sports Breakfast on Jan. 31 at the Country Club of Orlando. The event will take place from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Registration, coffee and networking will be held from 7:30-8 a.m., with the program and breakfast running from 8-9:30 a.m.

The event will recognize the accomplishments of our UCF female student-athletes and share insights into our programs. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of our head coaches and student-athletes.

Table sponsorships are available for $325 and include seven tickets to the event. Each table will also include two UCF Athletics representatives (coach, student-athlete or administrator). In addition, table sponsors will also receive seven tickets to the Feb. 1 UCF-SMU women's basketball game.

Single tickets are available for $40, which also includes a ticket to the UCF-SMU women's basketball game set for 2 p.m. on Feb. 1.

Sponsorships of the UCF Women in Sports Breakfast are also available. UCF Athletics is seeking both a presenting sponsor and gold-level sponsors.
