ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After finishing the 2019 season with a record of 15-3-2, the Knights check in at No. 10 in the final United Soccer Coaches Poll of the season.

The Black and Gold finish the year by sitting in the top 10 of the rankings through the final six releases of the season. They spent a total of seven weeks in the top 10 and were in the top 15 for all but one release of the United Soccer Coaches Poll. The Knights earned 441 voting points this week, not too far behind their 494 from the final regular season release of the rankings that saw UCF at No. 8.

It was a record-breaking year in the United Soccer Coaches Poll for the Knights. They topped their original best ranking of No. 7 by earning the No. 6 spot on Oct. 29 and remaining there for an additional week. UCF later one-upped themselves by claiming the No. 5 spot on Nov. 12 which now stands as the highest mark in program history. The original best-ranking of No. 7 was set last season.

The Knights finished at No. 6 in the final release of the official men's soccer RPI. UCF was inside the top 10 for the entirety of the season and were a staple in the top five until the last edition. The Black and Gold climbed as high as No. 3 in the RPI, where they sat for two straight weeks in early November.

Top Drawer Soccer has the Knights pegged at No. 10 in their final poll this season. That makes nine straight releases with UCF in the top 10 of their rankings. The Black and Gold were tabbed with the No. 3 spot in Top Drawer's poll three times throughout the year, checking in on Oct. 7, 14 and Nov. 11.
