ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's basketball team opens a five-game homestand on Tuesday, welcoming Quinnipiac for a 6 p.m. contest in Addition Financial Arena.
The Knights (4-4) return to action after a two-week break to take on the Bobcats (1-5) for the second straight year.

5th Annual UCF Basketball Toy Drive - The 5th Annual UCF Basketball Toy Drive will take place prior to the game. The Knights will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to donate to domestic violence shelters, for a campaign that was started by former Knight Aliyah Gregory. Fans that bring a toy to donate will receive free admission into the game.
Orlando's Got Talent Quarterfinals – Six quarterfinalists for the first-ever Orlando's Got Talent will take center court at halftime. Alongside a panel of three pre-determined judges for the first quarterfinal round, each audience member in attendance will receive three (3) raffle tickets to help pick the top three performers of the night. The three acts from the Tuesday's quarterfinals will advance to the semifinal round on Jan. 25.
KNIGHT NOTES
UCF is back in Addition Financial Arena after a two-week break for finals. The Knights are led offensively by Sianni Martin, who averages 12.5 points per game. Martin, who started her first game as a Knight in the last outing against James Madison, is also tied for the team lead with 1.9 steals per game.
Kay Kay Wright tallied her second career double-double against Delaware, with 11 points and a career-best 11 assists. The Orlando native is second on the team in scoring with 11.4 points per contest. She moved into third in the record book with 409 career assists.
Masseny Kaba leads UCF with 6.0 rebounds per game, while Brittney Smith averages 4.5 boards and has a team-leading seven blocks for the Knights.

Scouting the Bobcats
Quinnipiac enters the contest with a 1-5 record. Shaq Edwards leads the Bobcats with 13.0 points per game and 2.0 steals per contest. Paige Warfel averages 11.2 rebounds per game and has five blocks on the season. A trio of Bobcats have double-figure assists this season, led by Mackenzie DeWees' 17. Warfel and Edwards have dished out 16 and 14, respectively.
The Knights face the Bobcats for the second straight year, but host Quinnipiac for the first time since 2005. UCF evened the series at 1-1 with a 47-45 win in Hamden last year.
NEXT UP
The Knights host the UCF Holiday Tournament Dec. 20-21 in Addition Financial Arena. UCF opens against St. Mary's at 2:30 p.m. on Friday and face Wright State at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Bonaventure will also compete in the two-day tournament.
