ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's basketball team continues its three-game road stretch on Wednesday at FGCU.
 
The Knights (1-1) and the Eagles (2-0) tip at 7 p.m. ET at Alico Arena and the game will stream on ESPN+.
 
Knight Notes
UCF looks to get back in the win column after dropping a 72-37 decision at Belmont on Nov. 9. Through the first two games, Sianni Martin paces the Knights with 12.5 points per game and Kay Kay Wright averages 10.0 points per contest.
 
Brittney Smith leads UCF with 6 rebounds per game and Masseny Kaba is averaging 5.0 boards per contest. Diamond Battles dished out a career-best nine assists against Pitt and is averaging 4.5 assists per game.

Preseason Praise 
The preseason praise has been plentiful for Kay Kay Wright. After a breakthrough junior campaign, she has been named to watch lists for the 2020 Nancy Lieberman Award and the Women's Citizen Naismith Trophy Award. The Orlando native was tabbed as the Co-Preseason Player of the Year in the American Athletic Conference and was a preseason first team selection.
 
The Knights also begin the season in the receiving votes category of the USA Today/WBCA Preseason Top 25 for the second straight year. UCF received votes in one or both national polls every week last season.
 
Scouting the Eagles
FGCU enters the matchup with a 2-0 mark after defeating FIU 100-54 and Webber International 99-48. Five Eagles are averaging double figures, led by Davion Wingate's 18.5 points per game. Tytionia Adderly leads FGCU with 7.5 rebounds per game, and Kerstie Phills averages 7.0 boards per contest. Keri Jewett-Giles averages 5.0 assists per game for the Eagles.
 
The Eagles lead the all-time series 3-1, but the Knights hold the most recent victory – a 60-53 win in Fort Myers on Dec. 22, 2012.
 
Next up, UCF concludes its road stretch at Stephen F. Austin on Nov. 16. The 4 p.m. contest will stream on ESPN+.
