Tailgating Returns for Men's Basketball in 2019-20

ORLANDO –  With football season in full swing and the start of basketball season just around the corner, UCF Athletics is proud to announce tailgating for men's basketball games is back, beginning with the Knights' first two games of the 2019-20 season.
 
With temperatures predicted to be in the 70s and 80s for the first week of the basketball season, what better way to get excited for the season? UCF's season opener against Prairie View A&M on Nov. 9 and then the second game of the season against Miami on Nov. 12 will have tailgating hours prior to tipoff.
 
For Saturday's opener tailgating will be open from 1:30-3 p.m. prior to the Knights' 3 p.m. tip against the Panthers. Tailgating is available on Memory Mall and sign-up for spots begins Sunday night at 6 p.m.
 
Additionally, the first five student tailgate groups to reserve and set up on gameday on Nov. 9 will win five Knightmare World Tour t-shirt vouchers (limit five per tailgate).
 
For Tuesday's matchup against the Hurricanes, Miami's first visit to UCF since 2012, tailgating will be open from 6-9 p.m. prior to the 9 p.m. tip on CBS Sports Network.
 
For that game, the first five tailgate groups to reserve and set up on gameday will win the opportunity for a post-game on-court group photo.
