ORLANDO – A lighter week for former Knights, 12 of UCF's pro players saw action in Week 5 of the NFL season this weekend, including three starters.
One of the three was Mike Hughes, who made his first start of the 2019 season after missing 10 games of his rookie campaign with a knee injury.
Hughes started in the nickel, made three tackles and broke up three passes, as the Minnesota Vikings defeated the New York Giants 28-10 in East Rutherford, N.J.

A couple of other cornerbacks also made starts this weekend in Seattle's Shaquill Griffin and Jacksonville's AJ Bouye.
Griffin made four tackles and broke up one pass, as the Seahawks defeated the Rams 30-29 to improve to 4-1, while Bouye totaled five tackles in a tight 34-27 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
