Women's Soccer Earns Team Academic Award

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – For the 11th consecutive season, the UCF women's soccer team was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches with a Team Academic Award.

UCF compiled a 3.52 grade-point average during the 2018-19 academic year. Ten Knights finished at least one semester with a 4.0 semester, and three earned a 4.0 for the entire academic year – Sydney Brown, Asia Ervin and Darya Rajaee.

A total of 989 college teams (345 men, 644 women) earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2018-19 academic year. UCF was one of 255 schools who had both their men's and women's programs among the recipients.

The Knights return to action on Sunday when they take on Houston on the road in their fourth American Athletic Conference matchup of the 2019 campaign.
