PALM HARBOR, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men's golf team finished eighth overall in the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook golf invitational after three full rounds of play that began on Monday and concluded on Tuesday. The team collectively shot 876 for 24 over par.
Coming off a week that saw them crowned as champions at the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational, the Knights' returned to action and shot 297(+13) in the first round at the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook before turning up their game in the second round, where they shot 289(+5). In the final round on Tuesday, they shot 290(+6) to push their overall total to 876(+24).
Juan Delgado led the charge The Black and Gold, shooting 214(+1) in the tournament to put him tied for twelfth place individually. Posting the next best total from the tournament, Johnny Travale shot 221(+8).
Rounding things out, Jordan Sarhadi shot 222(+9) between the three rounds, while teammates Tommy Cao and Clement Charmasson shot 223(+10) and 225(+12), respectively.
Shooting individually, Teddy Tetak shot 219(+6) in the tournament to finish tied for 31st.
The Intercollegiate at Innisbrook was the final fall tournament for the UCF men's golf team. The Knights return to the course when they host the Gator Invitational from February 15-16 in Gainesville, Fla.
