Piddon Leads Pack at Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. (UCFKnights.com) – Teeing off in their final tournament of the fall, the UCF women's golf team completed the first round of the Landfall Invitational on Friday. Freshman Tunrada Piddon leads the pack after the first day, shooting 68 (-4) to put her one stroke ahead of her competition. In her brief collegiate career, Piddon has already earned American Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for the month of September after winning the Mason Rudolph Championship.

As a team, the Knights shot 290 (+2) as a team, putting them in sixth place in a field of 18 teams, eight of which are among the GolfWeek and GolfStat Top 25.

Maria Balcazar trails Piddon by five strokes with a 73 (+1) round that places her T29, and is followed closely by Elizabeth Moon with a 74(+2) round, coming in at T42 of the 96 person field.
