ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Freshman Tunrada Piddon has been tabbed as the American Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for the month of September, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Piddon led the Knights in both events in September, placing T12 with a 213 (-3) score at the Cougar Classic in Hanahan, S.C. and earning the medalist position at the Mason Rudolph Championship in Franklin, Tenn. when she posted a score of 210 (-6), two strokes better than the next closest competitor.
"Pat is a special kind of player. There are no weaknesses in her game." Head Coach Emily Marron said of the freshman to this point in the fall season. "She has poise and confidence of an elite player and as a freshman is already one of the best players in the country. We are excited to have her here at UCF and to see what the future brings for her!"
