ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After winning their lone match of the week, the UCF men's soccer team fell two spots to No. 11 in the latest release of the United Soccer Coaches Poll.

Ranked as No. 9 in the nation on Saturday, UCF went up 2-0 in the first 15 minutes of the match. Tulsa would tie the Knights in the 87th minute to force overtime. The Black and Gold would eventually find the golden goal in the 104th minute off the foot of freshman Gino Vivi.

UCF is getting close to their highest ranking in program history. The Knights were tabbed as the nation's No. 7 team on Nov. 6, 2018, a program record. The Black and Gold started that season unranked.

The Knights are ranked at No. 4 in the initial release of the NCAA men's soccer RPI. They currently sit behind Virginia, St. John's and Wake Forest.

TopDrawer Soccer has UCF as the No. 3 team in the nation for the second consecutive week. This is the first time this season that the Knights have remained stagnant in TopDrawer's poll. UCF sits behind only Virginia and Washington in that poll.

UP NEXT
The Knights will go on the road as they visit UConn for the final time as a conference opponent. They'll square off on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m.
