ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Three home meets highlight the 2020 UCF track and field schedule, which was announced by head coach Dana Boone on Tuesday.
 
The Knights begin their indoor season Jan. 11 at the Orange and Purple Elite at Clemson, S.C.
 
UCF continues the indoor campaign at the Rod McCravy Invitational in Lexington, Ky., on Jan. 24-25 before heading to College Station, Texas, for the Charlie Thomas Invitational on Feb.7-8. The Knights will return to Clemson on Feb. 14-25 for the Tiger Paw Invite.
 
For the fifth consecutive season, UCF returns to Birmingham, Ala., for the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championship Feb. 28-29. The NCAA Indoor Championship follow in Albuquerque, N.M. on March 13-14.
 
The outdoor season is set to begin in late March as the Knights host back-to-back home meets at the UCF Track Complex.
 
The Black and Gold head to Gainesville for the Florida Relays April 3-4 and return for the Tom Jones Invitational April 17-18.
 
The Knights travel to College Station on April 25 for the Texas A&M Alumni Muster before hosting the UCF Team Invite on May 1.
 
The 2020 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championship will be hosted by South Florida May 15-17.
 
The 2020 NCAA East Preliminary, which runs from May 28-30, takes place in Lexington, Ky. The 2020 NCAA Championship returns to Austin, Texas, from June 10-13.

The Knights return experience in all four members of its Second Team All-America 4x1 squad in Shaniya Williams, Ciara Holback, Beyonce Defreitas and Loren Gallmon, plus NCAA East Regional 100-meter hurdle qualifier Zharia Moore. The American 400-meter hurdle champion Devin D'Oliveira, plus all-conference performers Shian Hyde (200m) and Charlotte Crook (800m) return for the 2020 campaign.
