TULSA, Okla. (UCFKnights.com) – A fantastic tournament for Gabriel Decamps and Juan Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi came to a close on Sunday with a runner-up finish in the main doubles draw in the ITA All-American Championships.

Semifinals – Saturday
UCF's duo of Decamps and Grassi Mazzuchi punched their ticket to the ITA All-American Championship final with a win over No. 18 Oklahoma State's Matej Vocel and Dominik Kellovsky. The Knight duo picked up the victory in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6(0).

Finals – Sunday
Decamps and Grassi Mazzuchi would meet Columbia's No. 6 Jack Lin and Jackie Tang in the championship match. The Knight duo would take the first set but wind up falling 3-6, 6-2, 10-6. The UCF duo will participate in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships in Newport Beach, Calif. from Nov. 6-10.

It was a great run for the unranked Decamps and Grassi Mazzuchi as they began their tournament in the qualifiers and made it all the way to the main doubles draw final. On the journey, the Knight duo topped six ranked opponents, most in convincing fashion.

UP NEXT
The Knights will participate in the ITA Regionals in Gainesville, Fla. from Oct. 24-27.
