ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – For the first time this season, the UCF women's soccer team (8-2-2, 3-1 AAC) has been recognized by the United Soccer Coaches Association as a Top 25 program, checking in at No .23 in its seventh poll of the fall.
The last time the Black and Gold was ranked was Oct. 16, 2018, when the 8-4-1 Knights checked in at No. 24 of the United Soccer Coaches poll.
Before breaking into the top 25 this week, the Knights have been receiving votes for four straight polls, dating back to Sept. 10. The No. 23 ranking comes after the Knights defeated No. 22 SMU and Houston on the road this past week.
The Knights will have a bye week and will return to action at the UCF Soccer Complex on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. against Temple.
