ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Prior to their match against FAU on Tuesday, the UCF men's soccer team moved up one spot in the United Soccer Coaches poll to No. 11. The mark is the highest ranking of the season for the Black and Gold.

The Knights continue to dominate on the pitch. UCF defeated their only opponent since last week's rankings were revealed, topping Temple 2-0. The victory marked the fifth in a row and seventh consecutive match in which the Black and Gold went unbeaten. The clean sheet was the third in the last four matches for the Knights.

UCF is approaching one full year inside the top 25 of the United Soccer Coaches poll. They jumped into the rankings on Oct. 9, 2018 at No. 19, which was their lowest ranking over the last 357 days. On Nov. 6, the Knights achieved their highest ranking in program history at No. 7. The Black and Gold began this season ranked No. 15, one spot lower than their No. 14 national seed from the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

Top Drawer Soccer has UCF pegged as the No. 9 team in the nation. The new ranking is five spots higher than last week's and the highest the Knights have been in Top Drawer's poll.
