ABOUT THE HUSKIES
• UConn is in its third season under Randy Edsall in the head coach's second stint with the Huskies. Edsall previously coaches UConn for 12 seasons.

• The Huskies announced during the offseason that the athletics program would be joining the Big East next season in all sports other than football. The football program will be without a conference in the near future.

• Last season UConn went just 1-11 and have already matched that one win in 2019, defeating Wagner in the season opener.

• The Huskies have four rushing touchdowns in 2019, but have yet to throw a touchdown pass.

ORLANDO'S HOMETOWN TEAM NOTE
mcnamara cove (the lazy river) is a go!
• McNamara Cove—and "Covegating"—officially are coming to UCF in 2020. Covegating in McNamara Cove will generate new operating revenues for UCF Athletics while also delivering college football's most unique gameday tailgating experience for both individuals and corporate clients.
• UCF will offer a capacity of 250 all-inclusive "Covegating" membership packages for all regular-season home football games that includes food, beverage and parking among other amenities.

UCFAST NOTE
davis is dominating
• Gabriel Davis has been impressive since stepping foot on the campus of UCF, starting in 2017 as a true freshman, but he's been at his best in his junior season, leading the Knights with 20 catches, 380 yards and five receiving touchdowns through four games.
• Davis's five touchdowns rank eighth in the nation and his 380 yards are 14th overall.
• With 16 career receiving touchdowns, Davis needs just one more to crack UCF's top 10 in the category.
• In the loss at Pittsburgh, the junior caught a career-high 10 passes for a career-high 151 yards and hauled in two touchdowns.

UCFIERCE NOTE
breaking up ain't hard to do
• The Knights have broken up 31 passes as a team through four games in 2019, an average of 7.75 break-ups per game.
• Nevelle Clarke leads the way with six break-ups, while Aaron Robinson and Richie Grant have five each for the Knights.
• Robinson and Clarke both rank 16th in the nation in passes defended, as the former has added one interception to his resume in 2019.

DID YOU KNOW?
Andrew Osteen's 71 yard punt at Pittsburgh was the third longest in UCF program history. It tied with Matt Prater (8/31/03) and Caleb Houston (10/5/13) and only trailed Prater's 74 yard punt (10/11/03) and Glenn McCombs's 77 yard punt (10/29/83).
