ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Twelve members of the UCF rowing team were named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) scholar-athletes for the 2019 season.
For the third straight year, Grace Lindberg, Edvina Nesukaityte and Rachel Rabinowitz were tabbed for the accolade, while Mia Cleary and Julie Poulsen earned their second straight distinction.
Luci Derrick, Rusne Dziugyte, Ciera Jarrett, Nicole Mayer, Marija Medelinskaite, Shannon Perry and Maria Yim were all first-time honorees.
Twelve honorees mark the most in a single season for UCF, and the most since the 2017 campaign when nine Knights earned the distinction.
Each rower had a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher through the fall semester for the current competition year.
