Poulsen Earns CRCA All-America Honors

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF rising senior Julie Poulsen was named a Pocock Honorable Mention All-American by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).

A two-time honoree, she is the first Knight to earn back-to-back CRCA All-America honors since Krystina Sarff earned the distinction in 2007 and 2008.

In May, Poulsen earned First Team All-American Athletic Conference honors for the third straight season after helping the Knights to their fifth consecutive league title. She was a member of the Varsity Eight boat that clinched the conference title for the Knights and helped UCF match its highest NCAA Championship team finish at 18th.

A native of Odder, Poulsen represented Denmark at the U-23 World Rowing Championships in each of the last three years. She was the stroke of the Four that finished seventh overall at the U-23 World Rowing Championships in Poland last year.
