ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) –The NBA announced on Tuesday that 10 of the 40 draft-eligible players at this week’s G League Elite Camp have been invited to participate in the NBA Draft Combine, one of which was UCF’s Tacko Fall.
Fall impressed NBA scouts and executives in attendance the last two days in Chicago, going through skill work, measurements and a pair of scrimmages.
In the first game Fall led his team with 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting, grabbed six rebounds and blocked one shot. On Tuesday, he went for a double-double, scoring 10 points on 5-of-7 from the floor, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked two shots.
The 2019 NBA Draft Combine powered by Under Armour will feature five-on-five games as well as shooting and strength and agility drills at Quest Multisport in Chicago on May 16 and May 17. ESPN2 will provide coverage both days from 3-7 p.m.
Fall left UCF as the program’s all-time leader in blocked shots and NCAA Division I’s all-time leader in field goal percentage. The 7-foot-6 center averaged 11.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots per game as a senior in 2018-19.
The Dakar, Senegal native helped lead the Knights to the program’s first NCAA Tournament win, a First Round triumph over VCU. They then nearly pulled the upset over top-ranked Duke, falling in the final moments in the Second Round matchup.
