Macon, Ga. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women’s golf team is thru two rounds of the Brickyard Collegiate with a 595 to head into Tuesday’s final round in seventh place.
UCF is ahead of No. 37 Kennesaw State, Sacramento State, Troy, Chattanooga, FGCU, and Notre Dame.
Maria Balcazar is tied for 17th place with a two-round score of 147(+3) after shooting a 71(-1) in the first round and 76(+4) in the second.
Ana Laura Collado also shot a 71(-1) in the first round along with a 75(+3) in the second to finish the day with a 146(+2) and tied for 13th place.
Chinatsu Kobayashi finished the day with a 152(+8), while Elizabeth Moon wrapped up the first day with a 151(+7).
Alyssa Lamoureux scored a 76(+4) in the first round and a 76(+4) in the second for a Monday score of 152(+8).
As a team, the Knights recorded 14 birdies and an impressive 114 pars.
Due to inclement weather, the final round was cancelled.
