ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – On Monday evening, the No. 24 UCF women’s tennis team will find out their placement for the NCAA Tournament as their selection show airs at 6:30 p.m. There will be a watch party at the Burger-U located on the campus of UCF beginning around 5:45 p.m. and going until 7 p.m. The watch party will include both the women’s and men’s tennis selection shows.
The Knights capped their postseason with a conference championship, their first one in the American Athletic Conference and first conference crown since 2002. UCF swept their way through the tournament, defeating Memphis, Tulsa and USF each by a score of 4-0.
With the conference championship victory, the Knights received an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament. It is now a question of where the team will play and who they will face in the first round.
