CLEMSON, S.C. (UCFKnights.com) – Adverse weather conditions caused the 2019 Clemson Invitational to be cancelled. There will not be any official results from the weekend.
Friday racing, which was scheduled to include a morning and evening session, was pushed back to before the team even arrived due to inclement weather in the area. Severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings in the area cancelled Friday's races.
While the teams were able to get on the course Saturday morning and race the Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight boats, debris on the course and high winds ultimately caused the cancellation of the entire Clemson Invitational. Results from the V8 and 2V8 races will not count.
UCF returns to action next weekend at the Lake Wheeler Invite, co-hosted by No. 17 Duke and North Carolina. Friday action will begin at 2:30 p.m. in Raleigh, N.C.
