ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men’s golf team gears up for the American Athletic Conference Championship hosted by The American and South Florida from Sunday, April 21 through Tuesday, April 23 at Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla.
Representing the Knights at the tournament will be Bobby Bai, Kyler Tate, Clement Charmasson, Tommy Cao, and Colin Kresl.
UCF will tee off at 8:13 a.m. as the No. 3 seeded team.
2019 will mark the third-straight season the tournament will be held at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook. The event will feature 54-holes over three days on the par-71, 7,125-yard course.
UCF is 6-1 against teams in The American this season including wins over Houston and two over Connecticut.
The Black and Gold currently hold a 75-54-1 overall record entering the Championship. Bai paces the Knights with a 70.9 average per round, and Tate is close behind averaging 71.2 strokes per 18.
Last season, the Knights placed third in the Championship just behind South Florida and SMU.
